67028 passes the site of East Ardsley station with an additional 5Z51 0947 Doncaster - Leeds - Doncaster circuit, which I assume was for training/refresh purposes ahead of the reintroduction of further Mk4 sets from the start of the new timetable in a couple of weeks. Despite the gorgeous conditions this morning, the low angle of the sun meant I was struggling for suitable locations to record this working and even here I've had to edit some of the foliage from the foreground to try and enhance the composition. 91111 'For the Fallen' is the electric loco (02/12/2021)
The following morning the weather was a little more in keeping with what's been the norm in this part of the world during recent weeks and as the shadows weren't a problem I opted for a shot which although still awkward was considerably less cluttered than the one I was intending from the 'correct' side for the light. With 91111 once more in tow, 67028 approaches Fall Lane at East Ardsley with 5Z51 0947 Doncaster - Doncaster via Hambleton, Leeds and Wakefield. As with the previous day, a second circuit took place during the afternoon so that the '91' and coaches were facing the correct way for a return to passenger traffic (03/12/2021)
66183 passes a line of Freightliner's '66s' and '70s' on Midland Road as it nears its destination with the 6D79 0835 Lindsey - Neville Hill loaded fuel tanks. Judging by its external condition the loco was in use on the RHTT circuit until this last weekend (15/12/2021)
