After discharging its load of stone from Peak Forest, 66790 eases 4D78 0817 Stourton Cemex - Doncaster Down Decoy out of the shunt neck alongside Midland Road and rejoins the main line. The weather conditions weren't exactly spectacular this morning but as I was dropping off a hire-car at the end of the road I thought I may as well make use of the opportunity to photograph a working I've never previously made the effort to cover (28/06/2021)
An hour or so later the weather had taken a turn for the worse as ex-GWR 2-8-0T no. 5239 'Goliath' climbs past the Waterside Holiday Park with the 1415 Paignton - Kingswear (30/06/2021)
The joys of the English Summer! 75014 + 5526 double-head the 1410 Kingswear - Paignton through a heavy and totally unexpected shower towards Saltern Cove. Serves me right for applying the sun-block an hour earlier I suppose... (30/06/2021)
