Third time lucky with this particular loco at this location, and in colour terms it was close to going the same way as my two previous attempts. 37521 makes its way north for the third and final time today with 1Z45 1612 Skipton - Appleby (08/08/2020)
A slight variation on one of my favourite local locations to try and dodge the ever expanding forest rising out of the cutting without resorting to the top deck of the adjacent motorway footbridge: 66054 races through Hunslet with 6D80 1425 Neville Hill - Lindsey Oil Refinery formed of a lightweight load of four empty fuel tankers (12/08/2020)
37521 approaches the Salt Lake Cottages at Ribblehead with 1Z44 1438 Appleby - Skipton. This week had begun with top-and-tail '47s' for the first time but after 47593 was failed with a coolant leak on Wednesday morning standby loco 20107 replaced it for two full days before taking the errant 'Galloway Princess' back to Crewe. The '37' had run north the previous afternoon and had taken up residence on the south end of the 'Staycation Express' set (14/08/2020)
