37215 made a very sorry sight parked outside Inverness TMD. Appearances can be deceptive, though, as this machine arrived at Toddington within a year to begin a new life in presrvation at the GWR, where it has since undergone an immaculate restoration. 26035 is the adjacent Type 2 (19/03/1994)

Recently-restored 46035 pilots 45108 on the 1445 Bury - Rawtenstall later that afternoon. 'Ixion' as it had been christened was removed here at Ramsbottom with the '45' then continuing through to the end of the line (12/06/1994)

Another of the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway's resident diesels was 50021, seen here in the siding adjacent to the station at Toddington. 'Rodney' was due to feature on the last train of the evening in tandem with the '47' but by then I was already heading back north up the M5 (05/08/1994)
