With the pair having now been split there was a rare opportunity to photograph a loco and its train train at the north end of Broadway station without having to go track-side. 47376 is seen here on what will shortly be the rear of 2C17 1350 to Cheltenham Race Course (01/08/2021)
Some 4.5 miles and 25 minutes later, 47105 pauses at Toddington with 2C17. Just visible in the distance 47376 is in the process of being detached from the rear of the train before retiring to the shed (01/08/2021)
Having successfully completed the remainder of its diagram, 47105's final act later that afternoon was to shunt-release the steam-loco that had arrived at Toddington on the last train of the day from the Race Course (01/08/2021)
