The joys of the Great British Summer! 47376 leads class-mate 47105 through Hayles Abbey Halt at the head of the 0900 empty stock move from Toddington to Cheltenham Race Course. For reasons known only to myself I'd set off from home an hour early this morning on the off-chance the forecast I'd seen last night was wide of the mark but for once it wasn't (01/08/2021)
Just over an hour later and with the rain having eased slightly, 47105 arrives into Winchcombe with the 0945 Cheltenham Race Course - Toddington. This was the BT4F flagship's first public passenger working since the completion of a ten-year overhaul and 47376 had been sent out with it as 'insurance' after an undiagnosed fault had curtailed its appearance at last month's \Members' Day (01/08/2021)
