A new day dawns and its time to get back on the road in style once more: LSL's 47853 + 47593 await departure from Cardiff Central with 1Z40 0556 Cardiff - Appleby 'Statesman' charter. With little or no traffic about so early in the morning and the wind carrying the sound towards me, the pair had provided a very pleasant soundtrack to the last half mile of the stroll up from my hotel in Cardiff Bay a few minutes earlier.
