Later that afternoon the pair are pictured on arrival back into Crewe with the return 1Z11 1334 from Appleby via Upperby and the WCML (14/03/2020)

Not the best of shots, but given how elusive this particular machine has been over the last few years, it's probably as good as I'm going to get: HNRC's 47703 is pictured within the confines of the Wabtec complex adjacent to Doncaster West Yard (15/03/2020)

Another view of the former 'Saint Mungo' which has been on hire to Wabtec for some time now. Despite its external condition the loco is regularly used to test the ETS on overhauled Mk4 coaches (15/03/2020)

47832 arrives into Doncaster station with 5Z55 0925 empty stock from the Wood Yard for a Branch Line Society charter to Carnforth (15/03/2020)

47832 is pictured again at York with 1Z56 1002 Doncaster - Leeds Whitehall Road, the next leg of which was a rare '47'-hauled run around the Harrogate loop (15/03/2020)

There was however one final photo opportunity during the second reversal at Morecambe, where 47832 is pictured after arriving back from Heysham on 1Z57. Although it may look 'track-side' this scene was actually recorded on my phone with the camera through the palisade fence separating the railway from an adjacent footpath (15/03/2020)

ROG's 47815 'Lost Boys 68-88' accelerates through the cutting at Stourton with an additional 5Q02 0947 Crewe CS to Gascoigne Wood Sidings move transferring a TPE Mk5 set presumably into storage (22/04/2020)

Another view of 47815 approaching the A61 at Stourton with 5Q02. Note the prominent 'Thank You NHS' vinyls which were unveiled by ROG at the previous Thursday's 'Clap for our Carers' gathering and have since prompted several other railway operators to follow suit (22/04/2020)

47815 brings up the rear of the formation as 5Q30 speeds towards Morley. The locos had earlier been used to transfer new-build 331102 across to Yorkshire for Northern and were in the process of returning the barrier vehicles to Merseyside to repeat the move with a second EMU the following day (11/05/2020)

47815 'Lost Boys 68-88' rounds the curve at Morley with 5Q20 1025 Allerton - Skipton. In a re-run of the previous day's move, ROG were today transferring 331103 across the Pennines for Northern. 37884 is out of sight on the rear to work the train forward from Leeds after the reversal (12/05/2020)

Later that evening 47815 is pictured again at Pepper Road in Hunslet returning the two barrier vehicles and 37884 back to Leicester as 5M59 1720 ex Skipton Broughton Road (12/05/2020)

47805 awaits departure from Peterborough with Statesman Rail's 1Z37 0535 charter to Peterborough. This was my first train journey of any description since I came home from work in Manchester on 19th March, shortly after which the country was plunged into lockdown (18/07/2020)

47805 is pictured again several hours later on arrival at Paignton with 1Z37. The loco had been paired up with 47501 on the empty stock from Crewe but 'Craftsman' had been left behind at Peterborough after a fault developed en route (18/07/2020)

47805 'Roger Hosking MA' arrives back into Paignton with the empty stock for the 1Z38 1628 return charter to Peterborough. As with the outward leg we were routed via the Berks & Hants (albeit with an unscheduled detour through Westbury station in both directions), North London line and ECML (18/07/2020)

47593 'Galloway Princess' brings up the rear of 5Z35 1135 Crewe - Appleby as the train heads towards Gisburn (19/07/2020)

A couple of hours later 47593 is pictured again on the approach to Garsdale as it returns back south with 1Z42 1035 Appleby - Skipton. The train has just crossed Dandry Mire viaduct, which is visible in the background (20/07/2020)
