GBRf's 47727 and resident 25059 await departure from Keighley with the 1510 to Oxenhope on the first day of the KWVR's Gala weekend (03/05/2019)

The duo are pictured again half an hour or so later on arrival at Oxenhope. 47727:was the first of its kind to work a passenger train over the branch for almost eight years and was a last minute replacement for a pair of '73s' which were unable to be released from commercial work for the weekend (03/05/2019)

47746 'Chris Fudge' brings back a few memories as it sits beneath the famous train-shed roof at Paddington after arriving with 5Z53 0614 ECS from Southall for a Steam Dreams charter (04/05/2019)

Meanwhile at the 'country' end of the West London terminus, 47245 awaits departure with 1Z54 0709 to Kingswear. The train had been planned to be hauled by 47746, but an overnight attack by graffiti vandals on the loco and front two coaches had forced a double run-round on shed (04/05/2019)

Later that morning 47245 is pictured on arrival at Taunton, where originally the diesel loco would have given way to steam. However, the rostered 'Pacific' had been withdrawn from traffic a couple of days previously after the discovery of damage to its wheels prompting a late change of plan (04/05/2019)

47449 is pictured again on arrival at Llangollen with the 1115 from Carrog. Ongoing work at the new Corwen station means that the recently opened extension to Corwen East is temporarily unavailable at the moment (05/05/2019)

Later that evening 47749 is pictured again on at Arley on the rear of the 1855 Kidderminster - Bridgnorth service, hauled by 31163 (18/05/2019)

Originally there wasn't booked to be a '47' at this year's Severn Valley Gala, but the failure of the prototype HST power car at Keighley a couple of weeks earlier had led to GBRf offering one of their machines to as a replacement to work with the 125 Group's Mk3 coaches. This is the view from the footbridge at Arley whilst awaiting the arrival of a Kidderminster-bound train (18/05/2019)

On a day which saw the last booked HST workings in and out of Paddington, two of their predecessors pose side by side at Bridgnorth. 50035 heads the 2020 to Kidderminster as 47749 waits to follow with the 2056 departure (18/05/2019)
