A combination of the train running early and a tree that's grown a little bit too tall meant I didn't quite get the shot of 47804 that I'd hoped for as 5Z45 approaches the bridge at Pepper Road in Hunslet (19/06/2017)

A couple of hours later 47245 waits to depart with West Coast Railways' 1Z45 0835 charter to Carlisle, having arrived on the rear of 5Z45. DRS' 37606 is stabled in the Parcels sidings (19/06/2017)

A relatively rare visit these days by a '47' to Kings Cross on a passenger working: 47760 waits to depart with the Railway Touring Company's 1Z45 1717 return charter to Scarborough, which included a rare run up the GN/GE Joint Line. The safety barriers were presumably in anticipation of the reappearance of 'Flying Scotsman' which had worked the inbound train (24/06/2017)

In the last of the daylight later that evening 47760 waits to depart from York on the final leg of its journey to Scarborough with 1Z45 (24/06/2017)

On a scorching hot Summer's afternoon, 47245 waits to depart from York with 1Z43 1657 return charter to Kings Cross via Chesterfield, Toton and Stamford, the outward leg of which had been steam hauled. In tow is 37706, which unfortunately had to be called into action at Peterborough North Junction after the 'Brush' lost most of its coolant (01/07/2017)

47292 brings up the rear of 1D04 as 'Sherwood Forester' slows for the end of the line. Fifty steps bridge is just visible in the distant top right of the picture and from here the 'Brush' would lead the train for the final 3/4 mile of its journey into Ruddington Fields (02/07/2017)
