Running as 0Z+90 0836 Carnforth U&DGL - Doncaster, 47760+47580 pass Oakenshaw Junction on the outskirts of Wakefield. The pair would later top-and-tail the last leg of the 'Great Britain IX' charter through to Kings Cross (04/05/2016)

47828 is now in private hands and is based at the Dartmoor Railway. Two days after arriving at its new home, the former DRS machine is pictured at Meldon (07/05/2016)

47851 leaves the single line section after crossing Ribblehead Viaduct with Statesman Rail's 1Z67 1605 return charter from Appleby to Hereford. With the north end of the Settle - Carlisle line likely to be closed for the remainder of the year because of the landslip at Eden Brow, such scenes are likely to be incredibly rare in 2016 (14/05/2016)

47596 'Aldeburgh Festival' arrives at Thuxton with the 1205 from Wymondham Abbey to Dereham. Admittedly the train was moving at slow speed, but for a shot with a mobile phone this hasn't turned out too badly (21/05/2016)

47596 is pictured on arrival back at Dereham with the last train of the day, the 1645 from Wymondham Abbey. On this side only the loco had been re-numbered 47581 and fitted with one of the 'Great Eastern' nameplates carried by its former sister (21/05/2016)

Day 2 of the Mid Norfolk Railway's 'Stratford Depot Weekend' began with both of the SF47 Group's resident machines posed side by side at Dereham. 47596 is adorned with the original headboard carried by 47581 when it worked the 1835 Liverpool Street - Kings Lynn on 12th May 1990, whilst 47367 awaits departure with the 0940 to Wymondham Abbey (22/05/2016)

47832 is seen at Whitby on the rear of SRPS Railtours' 1Z36 1630 return charter to Gourock. "Tamar" had earlier worked forward from Battersby on the 1Z35 0555 inbound leg. This was my first visit to the town with a '47' for nearly seven years (28/05/2016)

Later that evening 47832 pauses at Edinburgh Waverley with 1Z36 1630 Whitby - Gourock. The loco was in charge of the train for the bulk of the return journey once '854 had reached the reversal point at Battersby (28/05/2016)
