Another view of 47245 at Bath with 1Z38 shortly before departing for Bedminster with the empty stock. I thought I'd seen the last of the 'o' for this year but 47854 had failed shortly before the empty stock departed Carnforth the previous day leading to a last-minute loco swap (13/12/2014)
Having been out of traffic since August whilst a wheelset change was undertaken, 47580 had made a very welcome return to front line service on the previous week's NENTA charter to Newcastle. 'Essex' is seen here departing Bath on the rear of 5Z37 to Bedminster, and later worked the 1Z38 1631 return throughout to Skegness (13/12/2014)
