47773 'Reservist' awaits its next duty in Platform 2 at Doncaster (04/05/1997)

'Dutch' liveried 47331 made a tantalising move into the platform at Doncaster but unfortunately didn't get involved in any of the diverted passenger trains that afternoon (04/05/1997)

Early the next morning 47741 'Resilient' is seen awaiting departure from Leeds with 1Z49 0623 'Green Express' charter to Bath (05/05/1997)

Having continued through to Westbury to run round, 47741 approaches Bath from the east with the ECS off 1Z49 whilst en route to Bristol for servicing (05/05/1997)

47793 'Saint Augustine' prepares to run round at Hereford before heading for Birmingham via Malvern with 1Z54 0508 Shrewsbury - Carlisle. One of the more bizarre charters I've travelled on had begun with a high-speed drive across Shropshire after we got wind that the train had been retimed to leave approximately 20 minutes earlier than booked. Fortunately we still made it - unlike a good number of the tour's other passengers (10/05/1997)

47793 stands at Crewe later that morning awaiting passengers from the 'Marches' who'd travelled north by service trains to catch up with it (10/05/1997)
