Fire-damaged 47225 awaits transfer to Crewe Works from the Horse Landing at the rear of the station. To the rear is collision-damaged 47850 (28/08/1995)

47733 waits to depart from Edinburgh Waverley with the Huddersfield Green Party's 1Z52 1655 return charter to Barnsley, which offered the rare opportunity to cover the Penistone line behind a '47' (02/09/1995)

47843 is pictured on arrival at Eastbourne with 1O66 0717 from Manchester Piccadilly (23/09/1995)

Having run round its train, 47843 waits to return north with 1M50 1355 Eastbourne - Manchester Piccadilly. Although Eastbourne had been a long-standing alternative 'summer Saturday' destination for the daily round trip from Manchester to Brighton, this was the last time the service was booked to come here (23/09/1995)
