Viewed from the Balm Road overbridge, 47853 passes Freightliner's Midland Road maintenance site in Hunslet at the head of Steam Dreams' 1Z46 0845 Kings Cross - Edinburgh charter. The loco would work the train as far as Hellifield from where steam would take over for the journey to Scotland. Sister loco 47593 is just visible on the rear of the formation (16/06/2022)
47773 propels the empty stock into York from Holgate Sidings for Vintage Trains' 1Z35 1726 return charter to Tyseley Warwick Road. The outward leg earlier that morning had been steam hauled and 'Duchess of Sutherland' was spending the night at the National Railway Museum ahead of a further trip to Newcastle and back the following day (17/06/2022)
Later that evening 47773 waits time at Derby with 1Z35. It would be a further two and a half hours before it got back to its Tyseley base on what it's fair to say wasn't the most taxing of schedules (17/06/2022)
