A large part of the day's itinerary was entrusted to 56081 but having been off the north end of the platform at Leicester and off public limits at Barrow Hill, photo opportunities until now had been non-existent apart from a quick melee in the darkness during a pathing stop/set down at Doncaster. With its work for the day now complete, the BR Blue liveried machine is pictured on arrival at Peterborough after working 1Z58 1336 Barrow Hill to Spring Bank South Junction via the Doncaster avoiding line and Goole, and then continuing as 1Z59 1539 Spring Bank South Junction to Peterborough via Gascoigne Wood, Ferrybrigger, Askern and the ECML (14/01/2023)
